Were Soviet Planes really that out dated?

Soviet planes are often perceived as outdated because many of the models they were using were unorthodox or just left over
scraps they couldn't replace in time for Operation Barbarossa. However, the Soviets were on the cutting edge of technology, and
that can be seen in the later years of the war. Some vehicles were even so good that other countries used them, like the
Yak-3. The purpose of this website is to catalog 3 of some of the best Soviet Planes.
